Jen Dobell RMT

Jen has an integrative approach to healthcare and welcomes patients from all walks of life (not just athletes) who have various conditions ranging from stress, surgical recovery, whiplash, back/neck pain, overuse and sports injuries. She uses myofascial, reciprocal inhibition and progressive deep tissue techniques, within the patient's comfort level. An initial session with Jen begins with a thorough exploratory interview to ensure patient goals are addressed and individual needs are met through treatment planning, patient education and strengthening programs or biomechanical retraining.

Jen is a certified practitioner of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) which uses rounded-edged steel tools to release connective tissue adhesions (scar tissue) and improve mobility. This promotes optimal healing, muscle function and can be applied with light or deep pressure, and is great for post-sporting event treatment and surgery recovery. During a treatment with Jen, you can request IASTM treatment or choose classic RMT massage if this isn't for you, or try a blend of both.

*Jen is highly allergic to cigarette smoke. If you are a smoker, kindly respect this and book with one of our other therapists. Your understanding is appreciated.

CJ Castro RMT

One of the greatest influencers for CJ’s career was his 10 years of coaching at a local CrossFit gym. He believes that, along with treatment appropriate manual skills, movement is crucial to facilitate the healing process. And in order to prescribe appropriate and scalable movements for the patient, finding the root of an issue either, neurological or muscular, as well as any underlying discrepancies and compensations, is necessary.
